Travel-Casa was created for people who don’t just want to visit a place — they want to understand what it’s like to live there.

I write for slow travelers, families, and remote workers who are considering spending extended time abroad or making an international move. That means going beyond highlight reels and into the realities that actually matter: housing, transportation, seasons, language, culture, schools, costs, and day-to-day life.

Travel-Casa is not about rushing through destinations. It’s about choosing places intentionally — and learning enough to decide whether a place could truly feel like home, even temporarily.

About Me

I'm Sherri from Fort Worth, Texas. I'm a former digital nomad that has now lived in Spain with my family for over 3 years. I write from the perspective of someone who has navigated slow travel, long stays, bureaucracy, housing realities, and cultural adjustment firsthand.

Over time, I realized that much of the information online about living abroad falls into two extremes:

overly romanticized travel content, or
dense legal and relocation guides that miss the human side of the experience.

Travel-Casa exists in the space between those two.

Here, I focus on:
