In the north of the island, the Corralejo Dunes Natural Park runs straight into miles of pale sand beach and turquoise water, and in March you can actually lie on it in a swimsuit while most of Europe is still in coats.
Corralejo itself is a lively small town with a harbor, restaurants and the ferry to Lobos island, and the big beach hotels sit just south of it along the dunes. Choosing where to stay comes down to whether you want to walk into town in the evening or wake up with nothing but sand outside.

Best Value: Las Marismas de Corralejo
Las Marismas de Corralejo is an apartment-style hotel set in subtropical gardens, about a 15-minute walk from the beach and the town center. The one-bedroom units have kitchens, which is the real money-saver on the Canaries: breakfast and a few dinners at home make a week here far cheaper than a full-board resort.
There are a couple of large pools plus a children's pool, a gym, tennis, padel and mini golf, and it averages around 4.3 out of 5 from more than 3,000 guest reviews. It's not fancy, and some guests find the all-inclusive package average, but booked room-only it's one of the best-value bases in Corralejo.

Luxury and Best for Points: Secrets Bahía Real Resort & Spa
Secrets Bahía Real is Corralejo's 5-star address: beachfront, with direct access to the sand, six restaurants, and a 3,000-square-meter spa. It's adults-only, so it's for couples and grown-up getaways rather than family trips.
