Where to Stay in Ibiza in February: The Best Hotels for Almond Blossom and the Island Nobody Sees
Ibiza in February is the island most visitors never see. The clubs are closed, the crowds are gone, and in late January and February the almond trees burst into white and pink blossom, especially in the valley of Santa Agnès in the north-west.
The catch is that many hotels close for winter, so this list sticks to places that are open year-round or most of it. Check your exact dates when you book. Ibiza Town is the best winter base: it's the island's real town, with restaurants, the old walled Dalt Vila and the port, all open in February.
Here are the best places to stay in Ibiza in February, chosen for different travelers and different priorities.
Best Location: Montesol Experimental
Montesol is one of Ibiza Town's landmark hotels, on the Vara de Rey boulevard at the foot of Dalt Vila, and it's open all year. Its café terrace has been the town's meeting point for generations.
You can walk up into the old walled town, down to the port and out to dinner without ever needing a car, which makes a winter weekend easy.

Best Value: Hostal Parque
Hostal Parque sits on the Plaza del Parque, one of the liveliest squares in Ibiza Town, and stays open in winter. It's simple and central, with rates that are far below the island's summer prices.
The square's cafés and the old town are right on the doorstep.
Best for Families: Aparthotel Duquesa Playa, Santa Eulària
Santa Eulària is Ibiza's family town, calmer than Ibiza Town, with a long promenade and a beach. Aparthotel Duquesa Playa is open in winter, and self-catering apartments make a family stay much easier.
From here it's a short drive to the island's north for the almond blossom and to Ibiza Town for a day in Dalt Vila.
Luxury: Hotel Rural & Spa Can Curreu
Can Curreu is a rural hotel and spa in the countryside near Sant Carles, in the green north-east of the island, and it's one of the few upscale places that stays open in winter.
It's the Ibiza of farmhouses, pine forest and quiet roads, and in February, a spa afternoon after a day of almond-blossom walks is exactly right.
Most Unique: Parador de Ibiza
The Parador de Ibiza sits inside Dalt Vila, the UNESCO-listed walled old town, within the castle at the very top of the hill. Views stretch over the rooftops, the port and out to Formentera.
For almond blossom itself, the adults-only Hotel Rural Can Partit is set right in the Santa Agnès area, where the blossom is at its best, and is open in winter.
Not Sure Yet? Search All Ibiza Hotels
If none of these fit your dates, Stay22 lets you search all available accommodation on Ibiza in one place. In winter, filter for your exact dates, since many places only reopen in spring.
